8 Days Before Spain

I cannot believe it is only 8 days before we leave.  It seems like we have been talking forever about going to Spain and it is only a week away.  I wish this was a countdown to our "forever" trip to Spain, but our first look is so very exciting.  Our #4 common question is how long after you return from this trip will you actually move to Spain?  That is a good question and we wish we knew the specific answer.  We continue to pray that we will be in Spain sometime this summer, but the actual date is dependent on when we have 100% of our financial partnerships.

Our house showed today to a family who saw it on Thursday.  We continue to wait and trust in the Lord.  He knows the perfect timing, but wouldn't it be great if we had an offer before we leave next weekend for Spain.

Tomorrow morning we will be presenting to the mission team at Pinedale Christian Church.  We get 15 minutes to tell our story.  It will be a challenge to figure out what is the most important and crucial to share.

Tomorrow afternoon we have open house.  Three other houses in the neighborhood also have open house, so hopefully this will create a lot of traffic through.  I've got apple cider and homemade cookies to make the house smell like home.

Life continues to be crazy around here.... but in 8 days, whether I am ready or not, we will begin our journey.
